    Student Visas (Subclass 500)

    Student Visa is issued in Australia under subclass 500, which is a temporary Visa for students to reside in the country till the completion of the course that can be general English studies to University degree courses. However, international students can get permission to work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight or 20 hours per week. There are some exceptions where students may get permission to work full time.
