  • If a Working Holiday Visa holder wants to continue for another year, he/she needs to complete 3 months working for industries such as plant and animal cultivation, fishing and pearling, tree farming and felling, mining and construction in a particular region.
  • Work and Holiday Visa

  • Immigration Department issues temporary Visa to applicants of the Work and Holiday Visa under Subclass 462 to the age group of people in the bracket of 18-35 years of age or 18-31 years of age. A valid Work and Holiday Visa holder can travel across the country and also work for a period of 1 year, and also study for a period of 4 months or work for 6 months but there is provision to work for 1 year as well. Passport holders of Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (including British National Overseas passport holders), Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, and United Kingdom are eligible to apply for this Visa. However, the application procedure, including need for details about English language proficiency level, education and financial state varies from country to country.
  • If a Working Holiday Visa holder wants to continue for another year, he/she needs to complete 3 months work in specific sector in a northern region of Australia.
